If you’re a recently-married couple or if you’re about to be married, consider going to Aruba for a great honeymoon experience. While many people believe that Hawaii the best place to go for honeymooners, Aruba is more affordable, less congested by other tourists and offers many great activities that rival anything Hawaii can come up with.

Depending on the time of year you go to Aruba, you can expect to save between 15 and 20 percent on comparable lodging accommodations that you would also find in Hawaii. If that’s not enough, prices for food and drinks are often easily 10 to 15 percent more in Hawaii than in Aruba. If you take attractions and activities completely out of the picture, you could save a thousand dollars or more right away just on lodging and food by choosing Aruba over Hawaii.

There are several reasons other than price to take your honeymoon in Aruba instead of Hawaii. The weather in Aruba is generally just as nice, if not nicer than it is in Hawaii. The stereotypical imagine of clear, sunny skies and warmth is a reality in Aruba more often than it is in Hawaii. The waters of the Caribbean Sea are as spectacular as the waters anywhere else in the world. From a climate and scenic standpoint, Aruba breaks even against Hawaii, or may even have an advantage.

Aruba has several amazing attractions to take advantage of, and there are several that honeymooning couples can participate in together. Those warm, refreshing waters that were referred to earlier make Aruba’s Baby Beach one of the most desirable locations in the Caribbean Sea and in the world. As a couple, you could go snorkeling and catch breath-taking views of the tremendous abundance of wild sea life in Aruba.

Another interesting sight to see in Aruba is a California Lighthouse. The northwest corner of the island is home to gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea, and the lighthouse just adds to the natural beauty of the surrounding scenery. It’s a very easy attraction to find and it will become one of your favorite parts of your trip to Aruba.

A honeymoon to Aruba just makes more sense than one to Hawaii. You can get the same type of experience for less money, with fewer tourists to clog up beaches, and you still get to see a lot of incredible sights.
